- Lists start the morning after you save those choices, on mornings with new matching permits. Nothing is mailed before that.
What the daily email covers: building permits from New York City (NYC Department of Buildings) within about 50 miles of each ZIP code you choose (measured from the ZIP code's approximate center), or in the boroughs you pick. Boroughs and ZIP codes add together; a ZIP code doesn't narrow the borough results. Our New Jersey pages are a separate, free-to-browse list of planning and zoning records; they are not in the daily email.
